Paintings

In 1965 I started studying Architecture, on the advice of my father, at Texas Tech University. By the time I was a junior, in 1968 I made the decision to switch to an Art Major and majored in Painting. These are from a series that I did during those years. They were inspired and influenced by my exposure to Nicholas DeStael, Wesley Rusnell, and the Bay area figurative folks at the time. By the time I was a senior in Art I had decided to switch to Ceramics for graduate School.
