I retired in 2020 from the Department of Art at the University of Texas in San Antonio, as an Emeritus Professor. I have to say I had a rich and positive career there. I meet amazing students every semester and made lifelong friends. I had wonderful supportive colleagues, and an extremely supportive administration under the guidance of UTSA’s President, Ricardo Romo.
I now spend about half the year in San Antonio. I have a house and a studio in far North San Antonio. I spend the other half of the year at a beautiful home on the “Big Island” of Hawaii. It is a rich life in retirement. I work in a studio, play songs with my guitar, and try to keep up with the friends and artists friends I have associated with over the years. I continue my practice as you can see here, mostly in my Mixed Media. Enjoy.
