I have done a many Performances as an artist over the years. The “Performances” really grew out of my practice as an art teacher and of presenting ceramic workshops. Eventually they just developed into my “Performance Art”. These were some of the costumes I designed and built for those performances. I have also exhibited them as they are seen here, hanging on steel frame mannequins which I fabricated. Sound was an important element of all my performances. I used soundtracks, I sang, I spoke, sometimes grunted and rolled around in the workshops with Clay, and later with other props and costumes like you see here.
